This Azilal is a vintage Berber rug made from high-quality virgin wool and recycled textiles – soft and cozy underfoot. Our Berber rugs are handmade, one knot at a time. Each Berber rug is a long-lasting unique piece, sustainably made with local virgin wool.

All of our rugs are cleaned in a professional rug laundry. The first step in cleaning is to thoroughly beat the rug to remove dust and any mites. The subsequent pre-wash with a PH-neutral soap removes stains. During the main wash, the rugs are washed thoroughly and wet by hand – a special soap protects the fibers and preserves the natural wool grease of the carpets. Initial dewatering is carried out by mechanical pressing and spinning, so that the rugs are then dried hanging in constant circulating air.
